Lady McAdden relies entirely on public funding; your donation will help us do even more. Donating can take just 60 seconds.
What your donation can help us with…
- Just £10 covers the cost of reminding 20 women by text to check their breasts for a year.
- £17 covers the cost to provide a remote Breast Awareness or Breast Pain Consultation, it also covers the cost of a concerned call/appointment.
- £28 covers the cost to provide a Breast Awareness or Breast Pain Consultation.
- £50 enables us to attend community events and provide an educational talk or workshop

Big Pink Bra Bins
Help support Lady McAdden by donating your old bras to one of our Big Pink Bra Bins. Our bra bins are located across South-East Essex and all donations are welcome; old or new, worn or not, wired or free, big or small, white, brown or blue, any colour will do, we love them all! Bras in good condition are sold on in our charity shops and the rest are recycled. Either way we receive money back for the charity. In 2024, over 10,000 bras were donated which raised £3292.64.

Charity Shops
Our charity shops sell high quality new and preloved items, including small electricals and bric-a-brac. We rely on the generosity of the local community to support our shops with items to sell. If you’d like to donate items for our shops, here’s a list of items that we need:
– Clothing & footwear (ladies, men’s and children’s)
– Toys, games and puzzles
– Homeware such as cushions, blankets etc.
– Kitchen equipment (not knives)
– Bric-a-brac and small electricals.
We occasionally will sell furniture but it must be small enough to fit in a small car and is dependent on the space availability in the shop at the time. All items must meet our strict safety and quality standards. We do not accept soiled or stained clothing as these cost us to dispose of.
Any donations are by arrangement and currently we are unable to accept donations of hardback books.
If you would like to donate, please call 01702 343288 (option 2) to arrange a time to drop off your donations to our Head Office in Leigh, or the Tilbury and Canvey shops.
