My fiancé Lee & I have now had our wedding cancelled 4 times now due to Covid, so we have made the decision to put the wedding on the back burner for a little while- cancellation after cancellation really has killed the magic for us to say the least and we have lost so much money time and time again.

Meanwhile- our wonderful Aunty Val got diagnosed with breast cancer for a second time just before her 80th birthday at the beginning of this year. Aunty Val is one of the strongest ladies that I know & this news came with great sadness and shock especially after only losing her beautiful daughter to cancer in 2019. BUT she’s only gone and kicked cancers booty for a second time!! We honestly could not be any prouder of her if we tried and that is why on Saturday the 14th August we are hosting a charity Ladies Day in order to celebrate wonderful Aunty Val & to show our support and thanks to you and for everything that you do.

Understandably, we have paid quite a large amount of money out in deposits for all sorts of things for the wedding that is now no longer happening therefore with the cooperation of our amazing suppliers we have chosen to use the funds in making this Ladies Day as special and as PINK as possible. We really are going to have a ball including some amazing decorations that have kindly been donated, the most fabulous raffle, games, pink outfits, lots of singing and dancing and way too many bubbles!

I am gobsmacked at how kind and generous people and local businesses have been- I would like to give a special mention to a few including The Roslin Hotel, Sugar Lump Lane, Scent with love flowers & Simone Brunt Photography. We have been so lucky, and it really is appreciated.

I have no doubt that the event will be a great success and I am certain that we will raise a few pennies to send your way to show our appreciation.
