The Lady M team had the pleasure of attending Ladies Day at Chelmsford City Racecourse on Thursday 22 June.
We met many lovely women, all dressed in their best, to raise awareness about the importance of self examination.
Race 5 was The Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust handicap, we had the honour of picking the best turned out horse, which also went on to win! Congratulations to War In Heaven.
After the race we presented the owner with the winning trophy.
As always, our knitted knocker scarves drew lots of attention – even Bradley Walsh wore them.
After the races, Banarama performed, followed by a DJ set from the multi-talented Gok Wan.
